Bluelon's queue monitoring automation solution provides cost-effective passenger handling and optimization of passenger flows.

Bluelon's iQueue OFM (Object Flow Management) solution provides cost-effective, local or worldwide, real-time queue monitoring and management system. The system is typically used in places such as Airport logistical control centers where effective people flow management is critical to the success of the core business. The iQueue solution additionally features an optional add-in component architecture which allows for functionality such as SOAP web services data server, allowing client generation of statistic sliding-window process graphs and data exporting to for example Microsoft Excel. Other add-in components provide visualization of movement pattern. The solution is designed to deliver the right information to the right people at the right time, regardless of physical location.

The iQueue Server suite is a highly modulized interactive LAN, WAN and web enabled solution for monitoring, installing, configuring, operating and maintaining distributed, nonintrusive, networked flow monitoring devices, such as the Bluetooth™ enabled BlueTrack BT-100-BL access point.

The result is a sophisticated, yet flexible, server solution enabling logistical managers or technicians, at for example Airport dispatch command centers, to get detailed statistical or real-time queue management information 24/7/365.

The iQueue Server provides users with a dashboard view of critical, real-time information to increase the efficiency at e.g. airports, airline operations or train stations etc. Users can view key performance measures and local queue information, such as activity through passport control, luggage scanning area, gates or at selected entry or exit point of interest including gate or terminal transfer times.

Passenger traffic at today's larger airports is reaching all-time-high capacity, thus requiring airport operators to deploy new sophisticated and innovative passenger queue management solutions in order to maintain acceptable customer satisfaction!

iQueue Server provides the capability to oversee operations in real-time for improved situational awareness and informed cost-saving decisions. The iQueue Server can feed its data into various systems for display of the information on, for example, existing terminal displays, standard or custom full client applications, Microsoft Excel or to a detailed map of the airports surface. With the ability to monitor queue progress, customers can predict future milestones (e.g., departure-time, dwell time, expiration of crew duty times and elapsed time from entering land-side/air-side queue entry to completion of identification check), identify problems and modify plans to accommodate the changing situation. Further, with more accurate information regarding the cause of delays, users can increase the accuracy of delay code assignment and improve post-operational analysis aimed at justifying automation or process improvements.

iQueue Server enables post-operation analysis and reporting. The system can be customized to generate event times, metrics or lists of events meeting or exceeding established criteria. The system enables playback functionality, the actual route of the passenger or vehicles, as well as operational events that may have impacted the route and/or travel time, can be reviewed and evaluated such that teams are aware of what actually transpired, as compared to corporate expectations.

The increased upward trend in air travel, has resulted in rise of the airport industry operating costs. The industry has therefore been forced to improve resource utilization to accommodate the increased complexity of modern passenger handling processes. The iQueue system helps manage this complex situation.

Queue data can be displayed on airport display systems and further sold to airlines for use at check-in and for other operational use.

The iQueue Solution is the culmination of Bluelon's many years of research in flow management technology, and combines Computerized Dispatch Systems (CDS), Tracking, Monitoring, equipment and passenger data into one real-time technology package.

The system can be purchased or alternately offered on lease basis to qualifying customers, thus delivering tangible benefits without a large up-front investment. Bluelon can tailor the system to your specific needs, and implement the product according to your business processes.

The iQueue system typically delivers ROI in a matter of months compared to todays human pay-roll expenses.
